Bankroll building with Omaha Hi/Lo

Most forums and training sites advocate playing micro-stakes no-limit Hold'em cash games or single table tournaments in order to build a bankroll from a small amount but most seem to overlook how perfect Omaha Hi/Lo is for such a purpose.

Omaha Hi/Lo is unique in that the player base is considered to be one of the weakest there is and it is also a low variance game due to the hi/lo split element to the game. These two factors combined make Omaha Hi/Lo the perfect game to rapidly build a bankroll

The fact that many pots are split leads players into thinking they can play any four starting cards and still win but if you do the opposite and follow a strict starting hand selection process you will find the money comes flooding into your chip stack.

Your aim is not to win just the low half of the pot, or the high you want to win the entire pot, or scoop the pot as it is known in Omaha circles. In order to do this it should be obvious that you need a hand that can make the nut high and nut low so hands such as AA23 double suited are premium hands as the can make the nut flush and straight for the high and any low you make will be the nut low.
