The first week of this Challenge did not really go to plan, and all we have to show is a loss of $558.43 for the week (-4.76%), so I have had to reduce the maximum bet down to $75. Main reasons were a few breakeven and losing days in the baseball, coupled with a horrendous night on the Tennis and I was behind the 8-ball early. Friday night again was tough, as I was banking on a closer win by Collingwood, and the Broncos winning cost me quite a bit in multis etc. Nevertheless we recovered somewhat towards the end of the weekend, though it was far from the best weekend AFL wise.
Alas - the greatest glory is not in never failing, but rising each time you do....those words were plastered over the change rooms of the soccer team I played for years ago, and I'm drawing on the motto for inspiration this week.
So - the Balance which started at $10,000 is now down to $9,441.57 - so its crucial we bounce back this week and get back on track.
In other news - its Melbourne Champs time and I'll be getting out amongst it in a few events - the first live poker I have played since only playing 2 Aussie Millions events, so I'm looking forward to the week ahead.

Gogogo Nick! I'll be sweating your progress as you keep us updated.
