Hey Sydney, cool story!

Hey guys, been awhile between drinks in the blogging world so I thought now is a good a time as ever to post some updates. Not much really happening in the online world of poker for myself, just grinding away into the big black hole that is variance. I'm currently in Sydney for the ANZPT and the side events running around the main event, at this point in time I have played 4 events and am currently 0/4.
The first event was a $330 opening event which I managed to bust at 150/300 without any hands of note, just a few dumb bluffs and that was that. The next day I played the $550 6 max semi-shootout, which I managed to find the bar after 30 minutes when I got AA<KK>AKs when the case king rolled off in the window. The Tony Hachem feature event was the next in the schedule, I made a deepish run in this event finished 35th or so out of 140 runners, ended up losing JT<45cc on KQTcc then A5s<99 to bust.
Today I played the $550 6 max which was one of the events I was really looking forward to, I played a few interesting pots today
25/50 - Random eastern European guy limps bvb and I make it 175 from the BB with AKdd and he calls to see the flop of T82dd, he checks calls 250. The turn brings an offsuit ace he check/raises my 550 bet to 1200 which I call to see the river 9 and he bets 1200 again, I call and he shows T2s. I really think the hand is standard other than the river, I really should fold the river because he is never value betting worse than AK so I was a little unhappy at myself about that hand
100/200/25 - A nitty guy who hasn't raised pre or 3bet pre at all and has showndown AA and KK limps from MP and SB completes also I check the bb with J2cc. The flop came AQ2 with 1 club, I lead for 450 into both of them with only the limper calling, then turn brought the Kc I lead for another 1150 which he called again. The river came the offsuit 10 which I was relatively happy about, especially as he called my 2875 chip bet.
200/400/50 - I open 67hh to 900 UTG and get called by a pretty bad middle-aged guy in the SB, I cbet the 234 board with 1 heart on it, I think here he has Ax a lot and any pair. The turn is the Jh which is obviously a great turn card to barrel for me, he calls again though and I check back the river which is an offsuit 6 giving me showdown value. He turns over J9cc for top pair and takes down the pot. I ended up busting 2 hands later when I 3b/called 88 SB v BTN 30bb deep and ran into TT.
I also went and saw Limitless during the week which I was very impressed with, with good acting and a very good storyline which keeps you on your toes throughout, I would recommend it to anyone that has a chance to see it. I will posting some more updates over the next few days to let you guys know my progress in attempting to brick a whole series.
