The starting times for the MAIN EVENT will remain as posted.
We spent some considerable time discussing this issue before we came to the conclusion that we would run both Day 1A and Day 1B on weekdays (Thur/Fri) at the 12.30pm timeframe.
We are aware that entrants on Day 1 may need to make arrangements within their work premise to attend but given the feedback so far, most potential players have said this will not be a problem.
There are a number of issues which affected this decision which included staff rosters, suitable player break between DAY1 and DAY2, suitable staff and management break between DAY1 and DAY2, tournament administration processes/chip audit at the end of DAY1, etc.
I think you will find most casino's that run a multi day poker event will follow a similar time schedule.
Thankyou for your comments and i will consider possible alternatives for future poker tournaments.
