I too have had it with the pokerz.
The heartbreak of busting the WSOP after having so little chips, and the shocking run online since I first invested over 2 years ago has made me realise im no where near the player I never thought i was. Theres nothing better than grinding with a drunken spirit, but im giving the game i love away in order to concentrate on drinking alone.
Its been a mediocre journey which has included reaching both of my modest goals that I failed to set at the beginning of the year on this very forum of reaching the top 2 in Aus / Engadine region on P5's and playing a live 10k event.
The thrill of hitting 3 figure scores and playing for hundreds of $ will probably be matched, but i wont miss the gut wrenching lows that running drunk/playing drunk will always inevitably bring.
Even tho my almost invisible existence had plenty of people on this forum not taking the time to give me shit(and i can hear them saying ''lol,ít who is this guy quitting pokerz too), i can honestly say that ive never taken anything to heart and have always respected others opinions and views.
I’ve had the pleasure of letting allot of you buy me beers around the circuit; I can’t say that it was an honour to meet and greet with some of the finest players in the country but a beers a beer.
This forum has also been a relatively small part of my life, and i really don’t care if it keeps growing or not as its an incredible breeding ground for Gooses (just try and correct me school teacher), and it provided me with limited insights and information.
