Hey Guys,I have an interesting question for all you aspiring Tournament Directors/Poker Room operators. This is a tournament situation. The Stakes are reasonably high and the pressure is on the players. TWO PLAYERS ARE ALL IN FOR a total pot of 450k in chips whilst the average stack is around 60k therefore this POT will have a huge effect on the tournament overall. The board reads....10s 9s 8h 7s 10hPLAYER 1 announces "FULL HOUSE" and exposes 10c 8d for 10's full of 8's.PLAYER 2 announces " *&#! i have a FLUSH" and exposes
Js 8s. The dealer who also happens to be PLAYER 1 celebrates his victorypushes the cards/muck to the next player to deal and pulls in his chips. All cards are now mucked and 2 players say, nah mate - he had a straight flush. Then player 2 confirms what was on the board and explains he knows he had
Js 8s making a J high straight flush. Bearing in mind that although there is a responsibility to the player to recognise his hand there is also a rule of "cards speak".An argument ensues - your opinions please and i will tell you the outcome afterwards....cheers,Bushy
