APPT Queenstown Snowfest dates and schedule available at: APPT Queenstown Season 5 - Main Event Schedule - PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour

Queenstown is part of both the APPT and ANZPT this year and two different types of online qualifier packages will be available.

APPT - Main Event seat, accommodation at a more luxurious hotel than the ANZPT package (Sofitel) and more money for travel expenses.

ANZPT - Main Event seat, accommodation at Novotel (same hotel as previous years) and credit with the Novotel concierge to book tourism activities.

Satellites will commence around the start of the APPT Melbourne Main Event. Actual date TBA.

Last year I recall the satellites started at least 7 weeks prior to the event in qtown. This year you give us 3 weeks (4 at most) to not only qualify, but book flights and accomodation (if we do not win a package) in the middle of queenstown's peak season. Why not start the satellites now?

so what happens if someone wins an anzpt and appt package to queenstown?

will the hotel etc be credited back at the players choice?

Air NZ have flight specials on that end in 2 days. In check in Monday night and checkout on the following Monday?

Queenstown satellites will now start when ANZPT Canberra satellites finish, but obviously the main satellite focus will be on APPT Melbourne as it's the next event. Closer to the start of APPT Melbourne is when Queenstown satellites will really pick up pace.

Even if you do win a package, it's up to you to book your own flights. If you're 100% attending the event whether you win a package or not, it's a good idea to book flights now.

We're working with the Novotel to try secure a separate room block for players who want to book hotel rooms directly at the poker rate (i.e. if you don't win a package). This is still to be confirmed.

If you win both an APPT and ANZPT package, you can choose which one you keep and the other will be credited as T$ unless one hotel block is nearly full and we need to fill rooms in the other. If this is the case, we reserve the right to decide which package you keep and which is credited as T$.

To avoid this, it may be an idea to pick which package you prefer and concentrate mainly on those satellites.

ANZPT satellites are now in the client. Click on Events > Special > All.

The ANZPT package includes NZD$3k Main Event seat, seven nights' accommodation at Novotel Queenstown Lakeside and an Off The Felt activity. Choose from:

- Credit with the Novotel concierge to book activities such as skiing, snowboarding, jet boating, quad biking and lots more.
- PokerStars snowboard (limited number available - first in, best dressed)
- Hotel room upgrade (limited number available - first in, best dressed)

APPT satellites to commence closer to APPT Melbourne.
