ok, so lets take 20 hands per hour.
Time charge: 9 x $5 = $45 Rake: 20 x $5 = $100 Therefore, $145 per 80-100 table per hour. Lets say we round this up to $150 per hour. Considering the buy-in for the table is $100, this is effectively 1.5 people per table having their money go into the casino's pockets. This is also effectively 16.7% ($150/$900) rake. hmmm..... Having played at these tables, you don't really notice the rake as your to happy when your winning and worried about your dwindling chips when your losing/tilting. |
