With note taking i understand some players post in stats, what stats are they posting in?

How many games do they have to player before you consider posting in there stats in your notes?

What colour coding schemes are used, as im thinking of starting to use these?

Which are some of the best sites to get stats on low-mid stake mtt players?

I don't use colour codes for MTTs - the idea with colour codes imo is that you can find fish in lobbies really quickly, so it's good for cash, but if ur playing MTTs ur generally gonna read all your notes anyway, so there's less point to colour coding them.

If I'm writing in stats its about a players profitability, which generally means I want how many games they're playing, what their average buyin is (ABI) and their ROI.

eg. I just pulled up a player in a lobby just now.. my notes are:

17% ROI, $110 ABI 700 games
opens every sb when folded to

Similar to Risk above as far as ROI ABI etc.

Also have alot of notes with their stack sizes etc.

etc etc mostly stuff that matters late game when antes kick in etc.

I do color code mine but very basic just based on some the notes to identify the fish/regs etc etc so would rather look at the notes.

They are situations:

18BB CU R2.5x/FTS
In this the villain was in the cutoff had 18bb in his stack, raised 2.5bbs and then folded when someone shoved.

25BB HJ+1 HBLF
This hand the villan had 25bb, in late-middle position (I think), limped and folded.

Duff explained both the above perfectly.

They are just easy ways for short handed notes so you don't have novels written in your notes box. Allows you to get a quick picture from the abbreviations.

Duff yes that article is one the nest ones about that I was referring to.

Applying them concepts alone with help your note taking along instead of having everyone's notes set to "#$% #$_#$%% #&@(@" after they suck out on you

Don't know if others think it is important but I also add the stage of the game via Big Blinds ie BB800 bb23 CU Fr3 FT3xR
- 800/400/100 Villian has 23 big blinds in Cut off, flat called 3x raise and folded to 3 x reraise.
