Default Hand reading without the aid of software

Can you still get a decent hand reading range on the opponents on your table without the aid of software,

What tips can be give to help assign an opponents hand range without the aid of software?

Just keep mental notes on opponents bet sizing, hands shown at showdown, bet frequency, position etc and you can get a general outline, maybe also make some player notes also.

I play at the same level each day generally at the same time...... Best thing to do is if you notice a real solid player put notes to that affect next to him, a real donk, put notes to that affect, also stuff like them raising from X position, it all comes in use.

... Just pay attention to every hand, if a showdown is wierd look at the HH and see how it got that way, and honestly you can fairly accurately extrapolate from a single strange hand how someone is playing at that time.

Send them a PM and ask them what their range is.

    internet...

Well i tend to keep track of four tables max pretty okay.

I dont use any software at the moment...mind you i also am not playing high stakes bit short on cash for the software and the BR just at the minute thanks to a car that took 8K out of me by blowing up its auto trans...

    So sucks.

    but anyway...I digress.

try playing a few less tables and make notes of hands in the notes section on each player as you go along, then you dont need to manage remembering everything.

    cheers
