    Default JJ

    $3 1R1A
    sitting 180/220 - <108th pay
open limp from a new player to the table. I have note on player referring to his terrible bet sizing. otherwise no reads.
I felt my 3bet was a little small and probably should have been around 2500.

Pre: Should I be shoving the open limp? What is my 3bet size?

Post: Fold or Shove? The bet from EP seemed overcards w/ flush draw or set and I normally get married to the overpair here

what was your note on his bet sizing?

I raise anywhere from 2000 through to 2500 pre flop. I also don't mind shipping in 20BB here, which is what I do 90% of the time (now).

Without any history I definitely ship the flop.

We have 20bb, we iso'ed a limper, we flop an overpair, we get donked into by the limper, we SHOVE. Jamming pre is fine too.

There is nothing other than these facts (stats or otherwise) that we even need to consider. /thread

this fucking game ... and I am no begginer ... pnw mods do my fucking head in ... these spots are doing my fucking head in ...
am I wrong? am I right?
This is a key hand after 4 hours in this particular mtt ... I guess it's just tilt factor that drives me to post.
It's always a hand like this where I double or bust that I choose to focus on because all my chips are at risk. I didn't feel it was black and white and I felt I could get a small discussion.

fuck the micros, fuck this site, fuck you, fuck this game! ........... until tomorrow

When you have <30bb as the preflop raiser and have TPTK/overpair in the majority of situations all the chips are happily going in on the flop or soon thereafter, it's that simple really.

And I still play some small tourneys fwiw (and coach people that play them/review their hands) - donk leading into the preflop raiser means way less there than it does at any other buyin level.

I really don't understand why your asking this question. I can only assume your playing scared.

If i was in this situation sitting 180/220 - <108th pay and got this scenario i would creaming my pants

this is a good point ... hence my removal

part of my tilt factor is to want answers straight away ... even sometimes without comtemplating the consequences of asking stupid questions.

    I just hate these spots.
When I'm running bad ... It gives me a sense of insanity and anxiety ... as if I am always making the wrong move and I cannot stop the bad results

I did shove [which I know is standard] and the faggot shows down T9o - top two - which holds.

I will learn one day not to ask stupid questions.
    today is not that day.

    hi usual,
i dont have as much experience but this would be how i'd interpret:

big stack limps from mid, generally with a marginal hand. Could be Ax; suited connector; bunch of KJ type of hands.

you got jacks, id raise 3x which is what you did.

on the flop, id get married to the overpair. could very well be up against KT,AT,KQ,QJ,KJ,87, hearts.

i think we're infront enough times to warrant a call.

I don't know whether to love you or hate you dodds ...

It makes me angry when you acutely point out my obvious streak of retard ...

but I learn from it ...

    still undecided
