I found this hand pretty interesting and would like to share it. Its a very simple odds calculation that a lot of players on the table seem to have gotten wrong. Basically villain accidentally opens hand and shows the nut straight, and hero has the nut flush draw. Does he call.
2/4 Treasury
Preflop: Hero has Ac9c and limps in mid position, maybe another limper somewhere, Villian in SB calls, BB checks
Flop: 2c4c6d ($16) - Villain bets $10, BB raises to $25 (very aggressive short stacker $100), Hero raises to $60, limpers fold, Villain pushes for $190 total, BB thinks a lot and eventually folds, Hero covers so its $130 to call?
Villain then accidentally shows his hand 3s5c, thinking hero has called. Does Hero have the odds to call? What would you do at the table, and whats the correct play?
I'm only interested in the last action, but knock yourself out if you want to critique the other play, and I will provide the required reads.
