Calling Ranges question
Ok so this is a pretty broad question but i'll try and word it the best i can
Facing a shove
I range someone
Work out how much equity i need to break even
stove my hand verse their range etc.
How much of an edge do we generally look for when calling?
Obviously on a tough table against good opponents we have to take every spot that gives us even the tiniest edge but given that i'm mostly playing micro to med-low buy-in tourneys and generally every table is going to be pretty soft (and everyone elses calling ranges are generally wayy too narrow and generally there's a lot of chips to be had by being super aggressive in lp) what sort of % profit should my calls be looking to make? (i kinda lean towards taking every edge i can no matter how small mostly because how large the fields are)

Re: Calling Ranges question
Generally speaking while most +EV spots shouldn't be passed up, I would look to push with a thinner edge than call with one simply for the fact that the latter occurs without fold equity.

Re: Calling Ranges question
No. Fold that rubbish. You can shove that hand bvb against a tight player but calling there is v.bad imo.

Re: Calling Ranges question
