Impressive check-call in the second hand.

Very few players fire out pot with a lone Ace in that spot - it usually achieves little. I would probably lose my stack though anyway.

    1) Bottom 2 aint much especially when they are sooo very low.2) Why play it if you aint getting stacked when it fills up? Hand 1 tells you he will unwind with Ax. But impressive read.3) Genuine bad beat.

    1) Your chance is better if you had 96 and the flop came A96?2) Just because you play and fill up you feel obligated to put all your chips in even when you think it is a bad play? And hand 1 provides evidence, though hardly significant, that he would unwind with Ax on the turn. But he didn't. He then bets big on the river.

    Default Two pair quality

    1) Your chance is better if you had 96 and the flop came A96?Actually yes. I think you are being results orientated. Without knowing your opponents hole cards, having bottom two pair on a A96 board is better then a A64 board, in terms of being outdrawn by a larger two pair. For example: imagine the opponent turned over 7h8h on the Ac 4h 6h flop, and the turn and river came 7 A, or 8 A, or 8 7; bottom two pair would be outdrawn. Where on a Ac 6h 9h, the 7h8h can't make two pair larger then the current bottom two pair. Or we could consider the unlikely holding of 67, again this could outdraw on one flop and not the other. Thats why higher cards are better, and the quality of two pair is also dependent on its size.Mark, I also can't see how you don't lose your stack on the 2nd hand. Just looking at the betting I can't see any tell there. A "new player" could take that betting line with many different hands. Or was it a timing tell?Trent

I think it's a very well played hand from Vos - but that's all it is. I will lead the river here more often than not as I multi-table and don't put the right amount of thought into each hand, and don't think as quick yet as people like Vos, but at the end of the day, check-raising in that spot is really bad, and players who can't see that reading a HH at leisure don't play 5/10nl. I would struggle when multi-tabling to not lead out on the river, but as played, it's an easy call and nothing more. If you lead out, you probably have to fold to any raise, so you might as well check-call. The streets leading up to the river are generically standard.

Second nut full-house call-down is to me the most impressive hand ever posted here.
