if you want to win more more- particularly against regular players/ TAGs, then you most definately need pokertracker. It is the key to helping you make crucial decisions. The amount of money this program has made/saved me is hard to fathom. It's just great help in making decisions in huge spots ie: is your 2 pair good? is your AA good on the turn? It's great in helping evaluate opponents ranges too, particularly on the turn and river.if you play on full tilt, you can observe/data mine all the tables so you can pick up stats on regular players and exploit them, this is great when they havent played you before.eg: you have 500 hands on a regular TAG on full tilt $200NL who loves abusing limpers or just habitually raises the CO/button too much. You sit down and he starts squeezing limpers. you know from your stats that this guy has a hand range wider than the grand canyon on the button/cut off, so you can go to town and start reraising him, or flat calling and floating him on the flop, because you can see from your PT and HUD stats that he is very aggro pre flop, but not the best post flop player. so when he makes his standard C bet and the flop looks nice for you/scary to him, you just call the flop with air and when he checks to you, just fire out a 1/2 pot or 2/3 pot bet. It's spots like these that are so easy to find with pokertracker.I've been using it for about 2 and a half years now and i wish i found it when i first started playing. It's helped my post flop game soooooo much and my in game hand analysis so much better as a cash game player.
