I have to agree with the earlier posters who stated your bet sizing was awful which it was. If I have learnt anything from 2/3 NL @ Crown its that you need to be betting big to stop people from chasing their draws as its station city - frankly 20 into like ~$200 odd to make people "pay to hit their flush" as you put it deserved the bad beat.
