very interesting hand i played recently against 2 good regulars, would love to hear from crown playersI have about 500$, UTG has the same and Button has over $1000 after just winning a massive pot.Im in BB with 33, UTG player raises to 25, everyone folds to the button who makes it 50, i call with 33in the bb and UTG calls the 25. Immediately I took my earphones out and began concentrating because we all respected each others game, so I knew I had some thinking to do, UTG and button also sat up and became very interested because it was 3way with the best players at the table. The flop comes a beautiful AdKs3c which is great because 1 i have a set,2 the other people in the hand mostly likely have an Ace and I will get paid.I check for deception and suprisingly UTG and button both check. Turn comes 2s putting out a flush draw so I bet 25 to make any flush draws pay to see the river, UTG calls and button raises to 50. . . I tank for about 30sec (so he thinks I have a weak ace or something) then call, UTG also calls.River comes 10s completing the flush draw and broadway straight. My first instinct was to go all inbut I decided to think the hand through ... I cant put them on a flush or a straight so i dont want to miss the chance of getting more money in if I check and they both check. I figure the best thing to do is to make a small bet and milk them.So i bet $20 into 300, UTG calls then the button goes all in (wtf?). I call and UTG calls also.results were:UTG had A10 - 2 pairBUTTON had QJs for straight and flushTalk about a bad beat Was talking about this hand with a crown local tonite and he agreed the hand was played fine untill the river except the river should be a check and then fold . . . I just cant bring myself to fold trips!! *edited to correct some formatting issues!

Are you serious ? This is not a bad beat – its bad play ! Trap the trapper !!1stly – you say “ BB has QJs for str8 and flush” – you were the BB with a set of 3’s, the SB had QJs and the button folded pre flop, then later the button goes all in – please try and get the positions right. If you put one of them on Ax then you should bet the flop – get them pot committed for your turn bet.Your turn bet and call are woeful – please outdraw me ! ” I bet $25 to make any flush draws pay” (into a $150 pot what a joke) the bet should be $150 to $200 really make them pay for the draw. “UTG calls and the button raises to $50” you only call – you get the re-raise you want and you don’t shove ?The river bet of $20 is an information bet and the Button/SB all in gave you the information you needed to fold. Why cant you put them on a str8 or flush AQs/AJs/A9s etc all beat you,– what about a bigger set ? AA/KK/TT.Thats my opinion – good luck in vegas.T

i agree 100% with Arlene1995 his comments were correct on all streets your bet sizing is no offence awful. And on the river a $25 dollar bet is not an info bet its a please raise me bet and its just better to check or to bet a larger amount and fold to a shove. And you also have to worry about the other player who called maybe he has you beat. I think you definaltly allowed them to give you that beat. A common mistake people make is that if you think someone has a big hand you don't always have to check to trap but you BET to trap.

LOL.Either this is one of the best and longest running levels of the last 12 months - or PokerProdigy, you are not and probably never will be a winning poker player.Oh, and if it's not a level, then I assure you there were at least 10 better players at the table than you - yes I'm including the dealer.Hell, if the cocktail waitress happened to be there, I'd say you were probably the 11th best player at the table. If by some MIRACLE you are being serious with this HH - you played this hand terribly on every single street, and I don't really think it's worth explaning it to you, because I doubt you would understand. But please, this is a level right ? WP, NH, GG

"But please, this is a level right ?"Im 100% convinced of this now."I check for deception""Betting 25 into 150"and "analysis from males only" gave it away.
