77 and 99-QQ seem possible for a random, but that is about it. do we know anything about villain?

having said that, he would think there is almost zero chance you have an 8 here, so he may just be spazzing and thinking you cant call.

I think you can only fold if you put him on low pockets because of his pre-flop betting.

His turn bet may just have been to see if you have made a c-bet with a big A and to try and get you off it.

His turn shove is weird. How could he have called flop with 5-7 (and filled the straight with the 6) ? If he hit his full house on the flop or turn, why shove and not check raise?

I think his most likely holdings are an over pair - 10's to AA and he doesn't put you on trips. 8 with a A kicker is a possibility, if he has got it - spew.

The shove is most likely an ill-informed last effort to get you off the hand.

Or possibly the bet did get you off the hand and it was genius on his behalf

If you are playing 7-8 in the first place - you have got what you wished for (pretty much) so go all the way IMO on that sort of board.

I am interested to find out what happened. What did you put him on when he shoved the turn?

im inclined to fold, dont think he is shoving much worse, esp with min raise on the flop.

Yeh I would call I think. He can be shoving random overpairs. I guess there's not many worse hands he can shove (probably 99-AA but they are all discounted at least somewhat) but then as played the only hands he shoves that beat you are 44 and 8x where x>8. So against a random in the 22 cubed I would shrug, call and river an 8 if need be.

Has anybody been playing back at you? What have you been doing on the flop?

How aware is he? 8x is a larger part of your range than some 9/7 nit.

Any ideas on his limp-call range?
