I wasn't saying that the comment was so silly that it must be a level, I just didn't want to enter into a discussion if it was a level.

Firstly, our 4-bet size will depend on the action thus far and to say that it should always be 25-27BB is a bit simplistic.

E.g. one limper to us in LP, we raise to 5x, BB raises to 16x (quite reasonable OOP), should we just minraise so that our raise is to 27BB and we can fold to a 4-bet or should we make a larger raise?

I personally don't think I would ever 4-bet/fold for 100BB if my 4bet was for value.

Was trying to think of a spot I would 4 bet to 27BB and I guess it would be pretty rare ie would involve a few limpers.

I think 22-24 would be a more accurate range for me.

Theres a bit more to it HJ. Using your example there is no need to make it 5x. There is also other things to consider like is the BB aware enough to know you are isoing a limper and therefore your range is wider? Is he doing this alot? etc

It go's without saying you arent folding if you raised for value.

If I'm raising PF I normally like to raise pot or slightly more depending on the circumstances - just a preference.

If they start to flat then make sure you 4b bluffs are with hands with good flopping potential(remove most Axo, add some KQ,KJ,ATs typehands).

def agree with minesony about flatting the 1st one pre unless we're trying to induce something spazzy, which we clearly aren't as don't know what to do now.

Also Al why would you want to 4 bet fold 1010? It has no card removal value, your 4 bet is never being flatted - is there any reason you think 4 bet folding 1010 is better than doing it with any two cards?

Yeah, I would never. Dunno why I included that option.

Was prob talking about our whole range rather than TT specifically.
