you've set it up, call it
imo u know instinctively when it is right to call this hand, and it's a snap call.
if this guy has AK or better, then just steer clear in future and wait for nuts/table change. you won't be able to read him for the rest of the session.
if you have him beat, he's going to donk off the rest of his stack very quickly and you are uber table captain with a free pass to blind steal and 3-bet. worth calling for this chance alone.
P.S. The guy has great OPR etc stats and a remarkably tight spread for a player that seems so LAG irl. I actually think you are beaten by a flop set.

yeah, i stand by this pauly. you set a guy up for the kill, only to find you've read him wrong and he's taken half your stack etc. happens to everyone. what follows is ugly if you keep locking heads with the guy. too easy to overread situations looking for payback.
risk - that's an awesome outcome. great read.

Mate, it really has nothing whatsoever to do with 'reads'.
It's about the optimal line in this hand, and I agree with most posters that check-calling and letting this type of player barrel is best.
I should clarify my initial post...
I do do this a bunch, but I also will bet the flop a bunch too... I wouldnt say this is my default line...
I think it's fine/good though against these type of ppl...
Irrrrrregardless of my choice to bet or check the flop, as soon as guys like this take the lead in the hand I let them keep it; (at least until im happy CRAI river, but this board doesnt precipitate that) and I think thats the point I'm trying to get at.
Seriously rickwaa be more of a loser.
against a unknown. what is the default line?
is it bet / get it in and hope they have AJ/AT/A8
