.change ur entire playing style.
restrict ur starting range & work at increasing the value you extract from your better hands, rather than looking to catch lucky and fit-or-fold
if you are really keen for action, try this as a strategy instead (out on a limb, cue flaming...)
find weak players, especially those that limp/call preflop. there are LOADS of these players in lower stakes mtts. you'll spot them immediately.
study their reactions to c-bets, and in particular, do they fold to smaller c-bets? when they hit their hand, do they lead into the raiser out of position? do they flat a c-bet in position? study them and figure out their betting patterns. they are usually very transparent.
i don't pay anywhere near this amount of attention when im not in the hand
once identified, raise over their preflop limps with a wide range (even suited cons, QJ etc), then take it away with whatever c-bet they usually fold to (usually, less is more and <1/2 pot c-bets kill them),
and if you hit an unlikely hand, then c-bet whatever keeps them in the pot and get max value, but be aware that any showdown will show ur raise-over-limp range to the table and you'll need to adjust.
i do this a fair bit in position
once you show this aggression and find that the weak players are folding to your c-bets, continue to play aggressive (but wind it down if you are playing more than a couple of hands an orbit)
don't slow down enough
one of the advantages of this style is that you will sooner or later raise over limpers with a very strong hand preflop and take one of the better players along for the ride, or find that the pf limper has woken up with AJ and donks his stack to your AK/AA/KK whatever.
