Cant say much about the hands but I played some micro stakes PLO cap yesterday during a short session, didnt mind it, found everyone was heaps more aggresive than usual though, pretty much hitting the cap almost every hand.

both of these are pretty easy folds pre.

with cap, you have to remember that implied odds drop dramatically, so you should only ever be playing for value, both of these hands are quite weak in this regard.

edit: i dont play much PLO but i this really does look like spew to me

Hand 1 is total garbage - I wouldnt complete with it in the small blind.

Hand 2 is a little better - u are DS but not to the nuts, a pair of 9's but little straight potential. For me its not good enough to cold call a raise with.
The flop is a bit better than it looks - 2 bd fd's and a non nut GS however u have no fold equity so I think its a fold.

These cap games are full of people gambling it up - the impact of the rake is magnified because of the limited pot size.
They are worse than the shallow tables because even if a fish triples up u cant trap him for his stack - only the CAP.

This is why PLO is interesting:

Hand 1: I like this hand to see a flop with, it is fine to call the the first raise but has no showdown value so we're folding to the reraise and never stacking off preflop. I guess all rundown hands have less value in cap games but calling one raise should mostly still be ok.

Hand 2: Junk. I've no idea why you are confused on the flop it is now junk squared and should be folded.

if our hand was a little higher i would agree, but 2347 seems a little to trashy for me, maybe something like 4569, or 3457 maybe (although i would still fold this) i could possibly understand.
still prefer fold pre IMO

That was what i asked in OP.
But I think cause the swings can be so bad in PLO, capped pots would be better. definately seems more gamble from players, including me. lol.

I did fold 2nd hand but just wasn't sure with the gutty and 2 BD flushes.

as for 1st hand i do like to see flops with this dbl suited run down and thought 3 way capped it's not too bad if they both have high rundowns so thats why i gambled.
