    =======================

    My read on the villain is that he's loose and not that good, my argument for checking and not c-betting on the flop is that I know he's betting into me - but where I think I went wrong here is I should have jammed.

    On the turn, should I really be jamming and trying to get draws to fold, or should I be trying to get all the chips in the pot if I think I'm ahead?

    I m not sure whether I'm being too results orientated here - the villain turns over 10,9 clubs, and makes his flush on the river - but on the turn I'm a 2-1 favourite.

    Any thoughts?

    Not sure why you didn't follow through with a check raise here...

    My only thought/question is along Sams thought line.

    What were you hoping to learn by check/calling the flop?

    Pot is 10k with his 4.8 it is 14.8. You reraise pot'ish size and he calls/reraises, you have a better idea.

    Yeah I should have reraised, I think a major leak in my game is sometimes I decide the villain has hands without having enough info, and then overcomplicate things.

    I play it the same against guys who will double or triple barrel and ship draws on the turn... The board is too dry for me to cr a hand this strong, check calling reps a smaller ace or stubborn underpair and I'm happy if he thinks he has fold equity on the turn.

    I like the way you got all the money in on the turn as a 2:1 favorite. Imagine if he had air and he was drawing dead?

    If you had of kr'ed flop maybe he folds, maybe he calls. If he has air or some bluff he certainly folds. Your line gains the most value from bluffs.

    If you think villain is prone to this kind of play. Your line is perfect.

    Stop being results orientated. Think about why you did things, and how they work against villains range. What actions he takes with what portions of his range, and how you gain/lose from each of these.

    much prefer bet/bet/bet for the reasons that people peel worse on the flop, people also call down weaker aces but may not always bet three streets themselves with them, and thirdly you don't give away free cards.

    If you think villain is capable of spewing off just bet the flop smaller and watch him go nuts.
