    Can you expand on this?

Is this more a raise/fold pre or just a fold?

    Both.

You have 8bb's. Jam or fold pre.

    Completing here is awful.

Assuming you don't hit the flop hard like you have in this instance, and you're going to check fold if you miss, you're simply bleeding chips you can't afford to waste.

+1, and as a rule when you're deeper and check raising for value don't minclick it back as it will be harder to get stacks in by the river.

Yeah as above, this is a jam or fold pre, and most likely a jam if we know anything about how loose the limper appears to be. Dont particularly like the minraise either, but hey it induced a shove with worse so not the worst play ever.

Obv its a bad beat once the money gets in and the dude does runner runner.

TBH i thought the thread was a level as someone playing $82 SNGs should really know both of these things.

Thanks for the constructive criticism, esp Risk as usual.

On the $82 buying, it was a step 3, so not a level. My average buying is about $25. Villain was a 10 cent reg!

Stars has my nuts in a purse at the moment, and its funny how these sorts of bad beats keep occurring. Yeah sure I shouldn't have limped, but I knew I could outplay villain after the flop, and I did. Just thought I'd throw it out there. Thanks.

This would seem to be the main problem.

You thought you could outplay 2 opponents, in a 3bb pot, with 7bb behind? Think about what you are saying here.

Anyway, you didn't really "outplay" him, you outflopped him. There is a difference...

Tell me how you play a board that you didn't connect with, with your stack size?

You're using results to justify your play.
