OK not happy with how I played this one so wanted to get some advice.

Called pre as I was getting 4:1 and if I hit my hand is well disguised, not unhappy with that.

I fell the flop bet size was maybe a touch too big?

When the turn makes the flush should I bet here or is too obv that villain is drawing and I should give up? Assuming I need to bet to find out where I am at what is the correct size? Should it have been more like 500 then 600?

Small issue at these blind levels but I would assume the principles about how I should size OOP would be the same regardless?

    Cheers.

I'm sure the regs can articulate a response better than me, but 42s is a shit starting hand vs a 4x open + 2 callers with deep stacks when you have to play a multiway pot out of position. It's a insta muck pre. 4:1 pot odds isn't enough as I doubt you have enough equity to call vs the opening ranges of the other 3 players.

You flopped 2 pair & still managed to spew off 1/3rd of your stack when you could have folded pre for 30 chips.

I don't mind calling pre if it's a 3x open early on. But I CR flop too.
