    Default PLO Preflop

Thanks to all the contrib's for my prev post - my aces were good!

This is a strange spot pre - against 2 loose oponents - call or fold - and do u think u could be a fav or a dog. I'm assuming one has aces or kings and the other has almost any 4.

    Hip,
while it sounds spewy - putting 60% of your stack in pre - I prefer a call and u can fold a small % of flops - eg 333 or similar.

The reason i posted the hand was more to illustrate the lack of value in multiway all in preflop. Doesnt seem to matter what hands are held but it always seems to be 35%, 34% 31% with no one really having enough advantage to beat the rake.

ok - u can be lucky enough to strike dominated hands but after losing the last 2 aa v kk v kk "races" its hard to see value in trying to get all in preflop.

As more and more people starting 3 and 4 betting light it seems that eventually the rake will be the only winner.

Calling pre and winning more than your fair share post seems to be a better strategy.

macdaddee shows Kc Ah Ad 7s
    (Pre 31%, Flop 0.0%, Turn 0.0%)

    urcashnow shows 6d Kd 5h 9h
    (Pre 36%, Flop 0.0%, Turn 0.0%)

davidwrunner2 shows Qs Ac 9c Js
    (Pre 33%, Flop 100.0%, Turn 100.0%)

The best hand - aces - is least likely to win and the "worst" hand is fav!!

I haven't run your scenario but I think the fact you have an ace in your hand and your opponents likely hold a lot of straight-blockers makes it not a great spot. I would prefer a hand like 6789ds to get it in 3-ways in a spot like this.

my thoughts - feel free to help me (i am still learning myself). Against loose players we may have a dominating hand such as

    Q-high rundown
    A789

pretty sure we're favourites agasint these.

If we're up against AAxx so be it, but I think KKxx is in a loose players range. I dont see AAxx being in the hand as often as KKxx.
T-high rundowns etc. will have a bunch of equity but i dont fold.
