so basically this spot comes up where a decentish player (up 50k on stars, won the big55 a few months ago) cold 4-bets in the sb leaving himself not much f.e. against a hj open, co flat and button squeeze. obviously this is an amazing 4-bet spot for him so he probably has a bunch of bluffs in his range

What sort of range would people look to 5-bet here (i'm assuming ranges won't vary that much from bb, hj, button). We can't bluff here but once we 5-bet the players behind us probably only continue with KK+ and that combined with the possibility of the sb being somewhat wide means we can probably get it in somewhat wider than KK+

pretty amazing spot to 4- bet i guess. and he's more or less comitting his whole stack.

Maybe not with hands like 84s,j6s etc but i think he can have hands that block against monsters like AJ, KQ, KJ, QJ, suited aces etc

I don't think he's bluffing - looks like he wants to be called by at least the button & will shove the flop (or be re-raised all-in pre).

I would not jam, the 3bettor has ~120bb effective with you, I would make it 4225 with the range you are willing to continue with. That said I don't mind 5b/f vs. BTN with AK, QQ and 5b/c KK+ vs. him. Sounds so weird to do that, but it has to be inf. better than jamming because the SB will still get it in with whatever he 4b and saves us if BTN decides to 6b, and his 6b range will be exactly KK+
