    Generally 1/2pot is pretty good sizing for a flop continuation bet on a dry flop such as this one. Basically this is because we are going to be c-betting dry flops a lot of the time and we get better pot odds by c-betting smaller.

    In this case this sizing also means we have 1pot sized bet effective left for the turn as opposed to having a 2/5psb left for the turn (when we c-bet 3k).
