Default Interesting Omaha Hand - Your thoughts Please

By the way, I mucked Aces face up when both other opponents were all in - i made sure everyone on the table saw it but they didn't seem to care all that much. Also SB folded a similar hand to the villain and UTG+1 folded 77 with no flush draw. Frank told me if he had more money he would have folded - but after some recent discussions I am not sure I would have... Cheers all

The 2 on the turn only adds one out in a 6 way pot. U need a non repeat spade.your position has enabled u to see a cheap river and harvest some non-nut calling spaz if u hit.The turn push means u are only getting a call from the stronger hand(s) and may be well behind.Too aggreasivvvee use your pozittion son.

But i potted the turn to eliminate the weaker hands! I managed to get a set to fold and also a straight draw to fold. So I need any Spade, a repeat or a 3,4 or 5 to win the pot now.Do you guys honestly think the best thing for me to do is call the turn and watch the straight come? Im interested to hear your thoughts, cheers.By the way there is 2 queens, 2 tens, 1 seven, 1 two, KJ986 of spades and any 3,4 or 5 for me to win the pot. So I count 23 outs to win the pot but some of them are taken i guess so that reduces the count. A straight wrap draw of KJ98 has 0 aces (they are all gone) 2 kings, 1 Jack and 2 nines, eights and sixes to win the pot. So I count 9 outs to win the pot with some of those outs taken as well. So I have nearly 3 to 1 winning cards to come.

I'm confused as to why you'd fold aces preflop? It's a cash game, there's just no reason for that. It doesn't make you look like a rock unless it was really shitty aces (AA39 rainbow or something). Even then...Why didn't you raise the flop? You've raised AA22 single suited preflop - the only flops you hit are the flush draw or set of aces. Bottom set is weak, especially on the turn. You make your perfect flop from position and allow every straight draw in?? I'd pot the flop and be all in on the turn.

"But i potted the turn to eliminate the weaker hands!"Understand the general idea of potting from position for fold equity but arn't you looking to take down the pot with a raise when you have an 8 out draw in Omaha? Is it realistic that you will blow through everyone?Isn't it $240-$30 to the nuts for you with 8 clean outs? Just not sure firing into a crowd works here. Its not exactly a bullet proof draw-you don't want a call when you pot it and you were very likely to get one. Sure you blew 777 out but perhaps more by good luck than good management. Given the line up in these games and the very specific situation of an underbet and several callers I'd be looking to catch and charge K high flush/QQQ/777 or str8s a fee on the river to inspect your nuts.

Ok, so I think the general idea here is to pot the flop and then pot the turn and not get the other players to comit to their hands. With the Aces fold preflop thing - I called from mid position and everyone called around to BB. BB raised and I called, the button went all in and the BB re-potted. So I am looking at a situation where it is $150 preflop for me to call with AA25 Offsuit.Let me know what you do now? I folded but I am open to suggestions as to how I should have played it or how you would play it.

calling is retarded, raising is of course the right play, raising the flop is totally fine too especially if you think you can get multi-wayfolding AA preflop to two all ins.... could be correct if you weren't already involved but if you had a piece of your stack in, it's pretty retarded.

errr.... I just read your HH, repop the BB who is going for the isolation, if he has AA its ok AA25 doesnt do so badly and is one of the better off suited combinations going around. bad fold.

I only had 10 bucks invested in the pot so I was able to get away from it cheaply. I Should have raised Vossy, but the other two players would have called anyway so I figured that all the aces would be out so I had to pray for a miracle flop.BB had: KQJ10 Double suited Button had: KQ104 Double suitedThe board read something like 24567!BB announced proudly at showdown " I have King Hihg " to wich the button replies " I have a pair of fours, hahaha ".Turns out that my two pair wins but I am happy with my fold I guess. Thanks for your thoughts...
