$2,500 for 1st, $250 for 2nd? ok then. Conditions apply? You actually need to supply those conditions somewhere. And where exactly does Euro figure into the equation? Not to mention this belongs in Home and Club Games.

Looks like a $50 event with a 200 minimum ($10,000 pool) and theypay out $2500 + $250 + $100 + bits = $3000 prizemoney.I live pretty close to North Strathfield. How about a few of usturn up and go bowling instead?Edit: Added this:By the look of it the venue is called ED5 and the group could be"Euro Poker Tour". The buyin has nothing to do with 5 Euros, otherwiseit'd be on T6poker.com

ED5 International is a performing arts school and college inNorth Strathfield. It's at 9 George Street North Strathfield, pretty close to another college of performing arts, the Mc DonaldCollege at 17 George Street North Strathfield. It's possible that this poker tournament is a fundraiser forthe school, which might explain the sizeable difference between prizepooland payout.

Tourney not until 5th April so I guess we'll get more details as they come to hand. Meanwhile we can indulge in meaninglessspeculation here.I worked with a guy in IT who'd attended the Mc Donald College.I called him one of the Kids from Fame. He got a bit tired of that.

So how much of the total prizepool is going to charity? what happens if you get less than 200 players? A great spectacle? what will be spectacular about it? the way you're ripping off the punters? You should offer a full disclosure on who the money is going to, etc. You have a license to hold a charity event I presume? Will you be issuing tax deductable receipts?
