Regarding the format of a new venue on their website:

Venue: Unity Hall Hotel
Address: 292 Darling St, Balmain
Day: Tuesdays
Rego: 6:30pm
Start: 7:30pm
Entry: $10
Chips: 1,500
Rebuys: $10 for 5000 chips (restricted to 1 per player)
Add ons: $10 for 5000 chips (free with a complete spend card)
Prizes: 100% return to the players

You start with 1500 chips but get 5000 chips when you rebuy?

Wouldnt it be better to just get knocked out straight away so you can get an extra 3500 chips to your stack?

I always thought the rebuy amount should match the starting stack? not be 3.5x times the amount? I hope its a typo.

Guys if your after an easy ticket, get to Red Martins Tavern @ Kogarah, they never get more then 12-13 runners at this game, a top 5 finish in one game and ur virtually a guarenteed qualifier.

Venue's a dive to be honest with you, staff are great and the food is tops, LOL I am always @ poor Ahmed to promote the game more, its depressing turning up and seeing the same 7-8 faces there!

Well that does seem unbelievable that the season is 6 weeks now and some people have been playing multiple events for that time and to see anyone turn up at a new venue play one game and get a ticket to the final. Its more than likely 1 out of every 2 will get one.
