And once again i was wrong. Very very wrong.
As once again, the money did not balance.
Can anyone explain to me how, in a $10 freezeout, with 59 players, how the total money being paid out is only $460???
When asked about the "missing money" i was told if you dont like it, dont play.
Well thats exactly what i will do. NEVER AGAIN.
Then upon returning home i note this disclaimer on their website:

Please note: TJ Poker may take out up to $50 from the nightly prize pool where players exceed 55, to fund our affiliation with the NPL thereby accessing greater prize pools for our players. Additionally, $30 will be deducted to fund for the monthly WSOP or Aussie Million monthly tickets given out on the night.

So they are admitting to robbing the players. They clearly admit to funding their own responsibilities to NPL with the players money.
Now im no rocket scientist but one would think that if they were getting more than 55 players, then TJ poker would also be getting paid more by the club. Therefore they should be paying these fees out of their excess profit and not robbing the players.

Am i correct in my thinking or not? Can someone please explain this to me???
LOL There's an excellent reason I am regular @ one of their games....... I am spitting distance from the venue.

Hahahaha, the funny thing is the NPL website claims there were 62 runners there that night. LOL, I was there also, we should report it to NPL

Isn't there GST ? APL charge GST when you play there so thats about $54. Then they appear to give a Satellite Ticket worth $30

So thats 590 - $84 = $506. Then the $50 comes out I guess.

But it seems that the GST is the law. The $30 ticket seems good value for a WSOP qualifier. I also saw they have a $40,000 Final which you can qualify for. Still think it's rough taking out the extra $50 but that is the only extra really.

$510 is about the right prize money there
