I have to say that I agree with No Bingle .

Discarding post flop will promote bigger hands, and bigger pots. It also puts the "Crazy" into Crazy Pineapple.

Sure a card is going to be exposed here and there, but that is the exception rather than the rule.

I think your misunderstanding here Brute. Were talking about after seeing the flop....when you discard your 3rd card. Crazy is to see the flop then fold one card and pineapple ia throw one before the flop.

Being last to act is always a benefit in poker - I guess you're just trying to limit that benefit somewhat - I think you're taking a large part of the strategy out of it though.

For instance if I'm sitting with Ah 7d 2d and the flop comes down Ad10d8c and 2/3 people if front of me bet / call then I'm throwing out the Ah because I know I'm out kicked and am better off trying to hit the flush draw ...

Got back from holidays on Friday night but then had to fly out Sat evening to Germany for work - will be back next Sunday so probably see you sometime that week, or given I left the wife and baby at home maybe the week after
