So just looking to find someone who has a regular home game, or even people who would be willing to play if i started up one.
Don't know any players around the geelong area, but surely there is some decent players out there looking for a game or wanting new players?
Preferably nl cash games, but im up for some tourneys aswell.

Want, don't really have the space/equipment to hold. Have another 2 or so that would be interested in playing too

Me and three others (all in the Pocket Fives rankings for the area) will play pretty much anything.

And then of course there is the Melbourne Champs winner Scott Peel who is from the Surf Coast somewhere.

Ok great. Next question is what kind of games & limits are people wanting to play?
To start off with i was thinking along the lines of .50/$1 with about $200 buyin, but maybe a min of $100 is more suitable for others. Can be straight NL or can be PL pre flop then NL after.
    For sng's would be $50+

    Thoughts everyone?

When it comes to home games, I personally prefer to play small because I use the game as more a get-together with mates for a good few hours of fun. Winning money is the second priority on the list.

However last night at the game I brought up the feasibility of running a monthly high-stakes tournament.

Originally I thought $200 could be a good option, but if done right, I reckon that a $450+$50 could definitely work run on a monthly basis. (Obviously the $50 could be whittled down to say $25 depending on the expenses of such an event - food, drinks, hot masseuse.)

First one is probably only going to get a table or so of runners, but if marketed right and run right, it could definitely bloom into something that people from Melbourne may venture down for.

Returning to the cash game however, I would be keen to play any high-stakes mixed game if there was interest.

Note: I'll be unavailable till August since I head to Las Vegas from Tuesday onwards.

Still happy to be involved in some organisation etc.

Yeh i am happy to play the occasional higher buyin sng or tourney structure, but more regular, happy to keep that figure smaller.
But i am a little more interested in the cash game structure, so what limits would be of interest to you?
