Default Aussie Millions Event 9: $10,500 Aussie Millions Main Event

Although I'm working for 888Poker and blogging at 888poker - Behind the scenes @ Aussie Millions, I've been asked by the head honchos to post some updates on the local contingent when I find the time in this thread.

If want to ask a question of a player, or get an update on someone, post here and I'll do my best to help you out.

Good luck to all the PokerNetworker's playing today and in the rest of the Aussie Millions!

    Sick Table

There's one table standing out as the star-studded table of the room and already we have some early action.

Phil Ivey raised to 250 from early position before Leo Boxell popped it up to 750. Ivey was the lone caller to see a flop of {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and again Ivey checked to Boxell who checked behind.

The river brought a repeat {6-Clubs} and once again both players checked it down.

Boxell showed {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and was happy to get to showdown with his kings on the ace-board flop, but surprisingly Ivey revealed {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a slow-played full house!

    WHAT... THE... FUCK...

So I guess you're wondering who managed to find a free $10,500 to donk off in today's Main Event . . .

Julian 'intimad8or32' Cohen and Brendon Rubie are seated together along with a mini-Pierre Bush (as told to me by Julian)

David Saab and Warwick Mirzikinian are seated together while Raymond Rahme, Chris Chronis, Jay 'SEABEAST' Kinkade and Mark Kassis are battling it out.

Julian Powell, Con 'tsapy' Tsapkounis, Joe Cabret, Peter Aristidou, Luke McLean, Karl Krautschneider, Antonis Kambouroglou, Dean McIver, Emad Tahtouh, Con Angelikis, Jarred 'FlopNutsOnYou' Graham, Luke 'eddy' Edwards and Manny Stavropoulos are also playing.

However it is these two tables that are going to be tough to survive - Billy 'The Croc' Argyros, Leo Boxell, Phil Ivey and Tom 'durrrr' Dwan are seated together while on the secondary feature table, Tino Lechich, Andrew Brown, Derek Cheung, Daniel Neilson, Erick Lindgren and Stanislav Alekin are all battling it out.

Billy Argyros opened to 250 before Leo Boxell made it 875 to go. Argyros called and checked in the dark to see the flop fall and checks from both players.

The turn landed the and Argyros check-called a 1,200-chip bet before the peeled on the river.

The croc fired out 1,600 and Boxell quickly mucked.

"You had me dominated didn't you? Ace-King" asked Argyros

Boxell just nodded along as the cards were shuffled.

Banana Thief and Bada Bing haven't been spotted yet, and for the old-time super mega grinding nits . . . I think they are using the Crown food coupons to grab some lunch because they haven't been spotted yet.

Jarred 'FlopNutsOnYou' Graham is done to 15,225.

On a Jack-high two spade flop, Graham's opponent was all in with to Graham's .

Unfortunately for Graham the turn landed a spade to see him clipped.

On the bright-side . . . errrr . . . or dull-side . . . he has just been joined by arguably Australia's biggest poker-pop icon David Steicke with Clark Kent/Superman get up in tact!
