Probably easier for people more in the know to answer but if I was to hazard a guess it would be something to do with the word employee.

I am probably off the mark, and I dont mind being corrected if so, but it is my understanding that media/reporters etc are usually not employed by casinos et al, rather more 'subcontractors'.

Quote Adelaide Casino Blind Structures Sheet

"This event is only available to employees of the Australasian Casino or Poker
Industry. Entrants will need to be ACTION cardholders and have proof of
employment and photographic identification"

By this definition I am an employee of the "Poker Industry"

If it meant just casino employees, then why write Poker Industry?

False advertising or is there three people out there that fit in that category?

Excuse my ignorance, but what does "adelaide anzpt will have a final table 40 big blind to average stack guaranee" mean?

It means they'll wind the blinds back (make them smaller) once they get to the final table to ensure that there is an average of at least 40BBs on the final table.

In regards to your question Tim,
Im pretty sure when they are talking "Poker Industry" they are talking about the Poker Leagues employees example; 888pl, APL etc. Hope this answers your question

how many levels are they playing each day?
or what time do you expect each day of play to finish?

For the Main Event, they generally play seven levels on each of the Day 1 flights. Average day works out to be about nine hours (inclusive of playing time).
