    Taken from your reporting blog:

    "All in," said Rogers.

Volkoff was beaming. "Let me check," she replied knowingly, glancing down at her cards and deliberately pausing before shouting, "I CALL!"

eh eh Lando, that sounds very slowroll-ish to me

    but meh, grats to all

Hmmmm ... I must have a different interpretation of a slowroll. She did show her cards before Andrew, when in fact that it was supposed to be Andrew to show first ...
If you can't play poker, DEAL. If you can't deal poker, REPORT. So ... where does that leave me?

If you think that's a slowroll, then Eastgate slowrolled Demidov in the final hand in 2008.

I think a player is entitled to double check their hand prior to calling. Even Phil Ivey should sometimes re-check his hole cards.

^ this implies a slightly different scenario than what you are claiming.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Tamara and think ths result is well deserved, but, if this went down as Landon states in his reporting then it is somewhat slowrollish. My beef is certainly not with Tamara. It is with the accuracy of the reporting at times.

The last time PNW did live reporting (at Sydney ANZPT) I had issues with the lack of professionalism of the reporter in question. And in this particular instance in one breath it describes a slowroll implicitly, then the next breath the reporter denies that it was a slowroll. As a reader/follower of the reporting it would be good to know what is accurate and what is not.

My main point is whether or not the 'incident' was reported accurately or not.

Due to the use of quotes etc I'd suggest that it was reported correctly, and in my experience could be classed as a slowroll.

Like I said, I dont mind if Tamara did either way, and she was probably caught up in the emotion of it all as well.

Tbh i'm impartial to a decent slowroll anyway.

I have no problem with anyone involved. Landon seems to do a great job, and as I have stated earlier, Tamara deserves her success.

Grats Brett. Awesome effort and well deserved.
Just landed in Melb to play the last few events, so might catch up with you for a congratulatory beer!
