After the way I was treated last time I played at Treasury I never intend to set foot in that casino again and I would strongly recommend against anyone else playing there either when Martin Coughlan is getting the Jupiters room running well and Crown and Star City are only a short plane trip away with better games, lower rake and competent floor staff and dealers.

Long story short, the situation the floor ruled with an angle shooting regular over me in a situation where he was clearly angle shooting, I called the floor, he verbally abused me for a minute or so while threatening violence while I calmly replied lets wait for the floor to make a decision, then the floor had the nerve to give ME a warning over the 'argument' when I never raised my voice or make any threatening statements and let the regular off scott free and awarded him the pot.

Also incompetent dealers dealing half the hands an hour of the crown dealers is always fun.

This room is a shambles and no one should play there, fly to Crown or drive to Jupiters instead.

So I assume i'm no longer eligible to ever be hired at Treasury now, right?

Why work in the city when the coast calls? Unluckily for myself, travel is not easy at this stage (for health reasons). Even going down to the ANZPT will mean 1.5 hours on Brisbane's state of the art trains both ways. Normally not to bad, but with wife and son on tow? So mostly stuck with Treasury for a while.

In their defense, we all had to start somewhere. There are a couple of staff making efforts to improve it.

But then you would expect better from such an establishment, wouldn't you. It is scary when a dealer comes out prior to the tourney and asks "what's the go?" You direct him to the T&Cs under the desk, and he is told to read the board which basically contains what is in my first post. But kudos to the dealer for trying to do a better job.

For those that want to persist (or stuck) with the Treasury for the moment, Hall of Fame Classic sat on this Sat. with the first '300' on Sunday.

    loltreasury

I guess at least they are slowly realising poker is important to the business.

Might play one of the $300s but doubt it.
