The first tourney they had there was a 1k bi that reached its cap of 30 players IIR.

The 100rs were fun but they just werent the same as that first game.

I don't think Poker DeNom really put any marketing in place, I mean, I use to ask people at star city about it and not many really knew much about it. I have had my feelers out on this for a while and believe there is interest. Back when denom did it, you usei to have to wait hours for a table at star city, now at star city you have to wait hours to fill a table up, so seeing star city is falling to pieces, I believe the market has a spot open for a new alternative. Back when star city was downstairs and busier, it catered enough tables to have different people at the tables and a lot of money, now it is slow and the same tired faces loaning each other money day in day out, I believe that something different could just freshen the game up.

18 people so far!!! Going for fifty.
Got five tables, very nice table, a sexy club that I doubt many of your average joe bloggs would have ever seen, let alone ever see, and five of these people are uber famous Aussies who have a quiet love for the game. Shaping up to be a good tournament. Not in a hurry to get it going as I want this one to have the right numbers for paydays and be organized correctly, because that way, once we have one, then the majority of those people will all be back for the rest that come after. Over summer is when it will really be awesome as we have numerous ships such as a six bedroom super yacht with three living rooms that is 94ft and owned by a hotel group who will give runners accommodation in the city once they get off the luxury ships after the tourney.
I have called upon one of the celebrity players, who is up for two logies tonight, to find some dealers and hosts amongst his sexy fans that approach him every night while in the city.
I'm getting excited about this and I'm one person who hates to talk about things that arent going to happen.

Btw- Ryan Corr, who played Doc Kanann in underbelly and is a regular on packed to the rafters is paying $13 to win a loggia tonight. Bear in mind he was awesome in underbelly and is on a show watched weekly by two million people, and the front runner paying just over a dollar is firass, who is hardly on tv other than yesteryear underbelly. Betting on Ry to win a loggia tonight would be a good bet.
From what I can tell, he is feeling good about taking home the new male outstanding talent award. I've laid a big bet down on him.
