No. Crown decided not to pursue live reporting of the Melbourne Poker Championships.

No decision has been made regarding the Victorian Poker Championships and any further upcoming events as yet.

Crown happily sent me Day 1a but to forgot to Day 1b until I called them (trying to help out the PNW peeps).

Since they didn't send out Day 1c or the draw, one can only assume that they really don't care too much about pleasing the poker lovers out there.

In a dire situation for poker, its quite surprising that Crown don't want to promote their tournaments and how people are going as it is the loyal supporters over the past few years that will keep the poker industry afloat as plenty of organisations - such as this one - start minimising their impact in the poker world.

Good luck to those that have survived for a Day 2 berth ... lets hope the 2011 version of Brendon Rubie will share his/her story with us due to the lack of live reporting.
