Default Joe Hachem deepstack Series 7

Hey all,

Just wondering who's going to the Joe Hachem Deepstack Series 7.

I'll be coming down from Brisvegas and hoping to meet a few regs there.

Probably playing flight 2 (friday 17th). Staying until Tuesday 21st.

Look forward to hearing from you.

have you or anyone else had any luck with online reg?? ive had no luck from safari or explorer on two diff pcs...

Safari can’t open the page “http://crownpoker/registration/” because Safari can’t find the server “crownpoker”.... is the message

considering it didnt work on a friends pc either i assume its the same for everyone? thought they would notice that no body is registering online and fix it but no change since it began..

Tournaments available for registration

That works. You're just missing the ".com" and ".au"

Easy mistake to make

Well I'm on Firefox and it's working A OK.

No poker for you then I guess.. donate $$ to charity instead. Maybe the guide dog charity. I always liked how you can put the money in the dog's head. Once I saw a guide dog seriously humping away at the charity guide dog. Gave all my coins up right there on the spot. Problem was, I put them into the anus of the real dog by accident. Easy mistake to make you'd think, but the blind guy got really angry. Then I realised, hang on a second, he's not blind at all. Everybody realised by heroics at foiling this man's grand plan to take all my charity dog coins. As a reward, I was given a guide on how to use the internet. I would like to present my winning prize to you, good sir. Mozilla Firefox Web Browser | Free Download

I was a bit WTF at what you were saying, but yeah, Crown has a dead link on the deepstack news article.

And speaking of things that Crown needs to fix, Jonno, Christian, Mike, whoever, as far as I can determine, your registration page does have a valid SSL certificate but there's no https URL or padlock. The Page Info in Firefox reports:

Connection Not Encrypted
The web site www.crownpoker.com.au does not support encryption for the page you are viewing.
Information sent over the Internet without encryption can be seen by other people while it is in transit.

- So, can you confirm that the registration page is secure?
- Why would you not want to reassure players by ensuring the page is secure and appears to be secure?
- Do you suggest players ignore the advice below?

**********
Commonwealth Bank - Card security
Is the site secure?
Look for an HTTPS within the address bar or a padlock icon. This indicates that the merchant's site offers an encrypted line of communication to protect your details during the transaction.

The Australian Government - Stay Smart Online
Only pay via a secure web page (one that has a valid digital certificate) Look for the https at the beginning of the address bar and a locked padlock in the browser.

Australian Bankers' Association / Australian Federal Police / Australian Securities & Investments Commission - Protect yourself online
Before purchasing online, ensure that you are dealing with a secure website. This can be done in several ways:
- First if you look at the top of your screen where the web address is displayed, you should see https://. The “s” that is displayed after the “http” indicates that the website is secure. Often you do not see the “s” until you actually move to the order page on the website.
- Check that Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protects your data. An easy way to tell if you are using a genuine SSL site is to check for a padlock symbol on your computer screen.

Talking Re: Joe Hachem deepstack Series 7

Hi,
As a long term reader and submitting my first post, I would like to add something positive.

GOOD WORK CROWN!

I enjoyed the series and thought all tournaments I played were well run and had a good atmosphere.
