Anyone know if star city get many runners to their single table satellites for the upcoming Sydney Champs? Got a rare Saturday afternoon free. Do they run every hour as advertised?

What I meant was if I turned up at 12 would I have to hang a round till 3 before 10 people registered or are they in demand. (has anyone been in one or at the room when they have run them.)

They will run if they fill the table and will probably run as many as they can up to a point.

If 30 people are there are 4pm then they'll rn 3 tables if they have space.

If you want an answer that you can bank on then you'll be shit out of luck because even the poker room staff won't give you a guarantee.

"As part of the ongoing revival of the poker room, the new management team is proud to announce Sit n' Go Saturdays. Starting on Saturday the 6th of August and running every Saturday up to and including 3rd September, Star City poker will be offering one table Sit n' Go Satellites into our flagship event, the Sydney Champs Main Event (8th & 9th September). Sit n' Go's will be run on the hour, every hour between 12pm and 6pm (inclusive). If any of the Sit n' Go's fail to reach the required starting field of 10, then you will be able to roll your entry over to the next Sit n' Go or receive an immediate refund."

How the fuck is it a Sit n' Go if it has a fixed start time? Sounds more like a "sit n' wait until the next hour"...

Instead of wasting someones time you could have just rung Star City and they could have given you an answer, but like I said, they wouldn't guarantee it either.
