And now I see why you are loathe to discuss poker on this poker forum. Your comments are pretty dumb, and that is not me doing my normal Steve Jones is a moron bit. Your comments are actually pretty stupid, and I put paid to them a post or two down. Calling off lag raises with pocket 2's and 3's doesn't slow a lag down, if anything it would encourage them to keep smashing the raises out at you. You don't "trap" a lag with a limp-call hope for race. Ironically, if Brunson took the standard line and raised the SB, Antonius probably puts him all in with A2, and Doyle can then call off for the hopeful race, and see one of 2 hands he actually substantially ahead of. End result same, way the hands were played much different. The way you would play a lag with pos on you who is making your life difficult is to do a lot of limp-reraising, but the stack sizes have to be right. I.e. Limp-calling all-in with a pair of 3's is so retarded, it stinks, and you can see it in Antonius' reaction, this from a man who is pretty sanguine almost all of the time. It's pure disgust, it's like "Geez this is insulting to this event to see hands go down like this - we were beyond this at the 25c/50c nl mark - how is this happening?"So you combat lags with position on you in a situation like this by either raising hard into them or perhaps limp-reraising pre or a variety of preflop/postflop combo options that often are decided by the texture of the board, but may not require your hole cards to have any correlation of any kind with that board. For example, if the lag is popping you pre everytime you limp, then firing c-bets a high % of the time, if the stack sizes are right, you can limp-call pre, then just c/r push the flop (depending on texture). Basically there are many options you have to combat a good, aggressive lag, but limp-calling allin for that amount with 3 players left in a major tournament is pretty ugly and disgusting IMO - but that is what I personally have come to expect from Doyle, from the few hands I've seen. I am always open to seeing hands he's played well - and his standard QQ fold in tourney against Reese is not impressive, its just standard. In this hand, Antonius plays it fine and Doyle plays it disgusting and wins. But as Doyle and others would say, "That's poker."

Again, my final advice to you.Travel doesn't agree with you.Stop whatever you're doing up there, stop rambling, and go back to Queensland and get help. This isn't meant as a joke, you have some complex obsessive problem I think.

Do you even read the posts? The one above is one of the better poker posts made on this forum this month. Or do you skim over the few words you don't recognise and then mutter to yourself, pack a new pipe, kick the cat, putter around with your pot-plants and type out your little template nonsense that does not relate to why limp-calling all-in with 33 is retarded? Mutter mutter mutter...curse, kick mutter...senility must rock. I can't wait for when I'm 80!

"Don't you worry jabbs, it's just about the time of year for guessing which position he'll finish in the top 500 of WSOP main event. He offered money last year, the higher you positioned him, the more he would pay you.Must be coming soon...""jabbs,are you having a shot at picking this position thing? It's common knowledge that players for this event require to be very tough & with a stable mentality for the long haul tourny. In light of very recent new evidence, do you mind if I change my prediction slightly?6,449th"I believe the point I made was quite clearly obvious. Yoyo has once again made a valid point about poker, and you have come out trying to discredit him. I just find it hilarious how someone who would require their life savings to buy into the WSOP main event, could criticise a professional player's previous achievements in that event. What I find even funnier is that you don't even live in Australia...why are you even on this forum? You provide absolutely nil in terms of useful information...and seem to pop up in every single thread in which Yoyo posts. Find a hobby, buy a pet...something....

What amazes me Yoyo is that you still respond with poker theory which is quite clearly beyond the "players" who are just here to follow you around... And they say the man has no patience?

Puzz,I joined this thread with a valid poker point, and it got attacked by yoyo, hence the ensuing posts.it's because he has no qualification or expertise to comment on poker at that level, he can't win a tourney, just talk about them.if youre his mate, go and airlift him out of Manilla before it's too late.If you're not disturbed by some of the posts in this thread alone, I,m suprised.About me not posting because I,m not in Aussie at the moment, dont talk silly.Anyway, you have you're wish, going to concentrate on the pets.
