    Default Disappointed with Noble poker

made a $400 withdrawl from noble poker into my neteller on the 25th of nov, it took them 3 days to send me an email this morning to say it has been processed. Then I realised 20 hrs later that my money was not in neteller. Went into Live support, I was asked to wait for 'a few min', but I ended up waiting for 40min before I got a reply saying it takes another 24-48 hrs for the money to go into neteller after it has been processed.

Although I support Noble Poker to support satellites to local Australian events, it must be remembered that Noble is a comparatively small site and there will be relatively little game selection. They may be a little slow too due to a lack of support staff. Personally, I'm a little wary of playing on smaller sites.

I stayed away because they tried to make the games too fast for me. I play at night and I want a relaxed thinking time, which is usually not that long, but seems too long for some poker petrol heads I guess. My mouse on my laptop is a dot mouse in the center of the keyboard and it is also not as fast to use as other mice, although it is not a problem for me, but it also subtracts from the response time if I have to choose a value to raise for example. That coupled with the fact that the software itself is already a big load on my old laptop makes me not a zippy player.I told them where to go when they tried to hurry me up on the play money table; I was only familiarising myself with the software anyway, and I won't be going back. However I am really interested that their random number generator isn't so random. That is even starting to smell of fraud.

That's a big statement Spikey, what makes you say that? In my own experience of random number generators, I have found a lot of people find it harder to accept bad dice/bad beats online, which a lot of people have accredited to psychological reasons. We remember the bad cards more than the good ones, and without physically seeing the cards/dice hit the table it's easy to say that "that wouldn't happen in a real game". Maybe sometimes that's right, as computers aren't able to generate entirely random number sequences, and maybe money does make things a different ballgame altogether. Not a criticism Spikey, just interested in the basis for your opinion while sticking in a bit of mine

I wasn't saying that their random number generator is bad myself, I have hardly played 3 hands in the place.I was referring to jabbs' comment that there seems to be a lot of royal flushes. I was just seeing if anyone else was going to corroborate it.

I'm like you, only played a few hands on a play money table to check out the software. Watching everyone go all in almost every hand gets tired pretty quickly. I'll reserve my opinion till I've played the first freeroll.

Well Spikey, I spend hours, when I play on a new site, watching for anything suspicious in regards to randomness of cards. This site seems ok to me. If TonyG is right it might turn out to be a very good site, especially for tournaments. Just take your time and I think youll get to like it.

    Default Disappointed with Noble poker

I know that Noble Poker have a very long to go to get the software & support up to standard, the refreshing thing is that they realize this. They are new to this industry and so far they have done a lot for poker players. If pokerstars did 1% of what they do for players based on rake there would be 100 players put inn every event by them.Noble Poker spent $100,000 for the last Bellagio event on putting players inn. In Australia I will be selecting 2 players from PN who will play for free along side me in the main event in January Noble will pay for it. I hope that they jack this number up and I will ask them to. All the players who register will be considered if they dont win a seat. As well as that they are going to do so many free rolls for poker tournies in Australia, lets support them.If you can help out with things that need to be improved please send it to me directly and I will pass it on to management personally.
