Aussie Millions Main Event - Pick Your Flight!

Day 1 of the Aussie Millions Main Event in January 2008 will consist of 3 Flights:Flight One: Monday 14 JanuaryFlight Two: Tuesday 15 JanuaryFlight Three: Wednesday 16th JanuaryEach flight will accommodate well in excess of 250 entrants. Remaining players from each Flight will commence Day 2 of the competition on Thursday 17th January.You can now opt for which Flight you prefer.If you already have a Main Event seat, contact us at poker@crownmelbourne.com.au or see the tournament staff in the poker room and let us know which day you prefer.If you haven't yet entered, you can download an entry form from www.aussiemillions.com. Fax it back with your payment details, and be sure to tick the box corresponding to your preference.(Don't put a number in every box, just tick one of them. This is the Aussie Millions, not the federal election :-)Confirmation of which Flight you are in will be on your printed ticket which can be collected in January from the Tournament Registration Booth.If you have any questions about this process, put them on this thread and I will endeavour to address all of them.

Hi Brett. I have booked accom. and am going to play but was not going to pay the entry until I got there on the Sunday. Can I book a flight WITHOUT having, as yet, paid the entry fee?Jim Hogan

100% correct, Jim.The Tournament Registration Booth will be open from the 2nd of January for:* those who wish to pay a tournament entry, and* those who wish to collect a pre-paid entry.The booth operating hours will be from 10am 'til 2am each day of the championship. The booth will also be open on certain days to be advised prior to the 2nd.

Is the booth accepting entries for some of the earlier events as yet?I asked 3 staff members last night who all did not know - and said to ask at the tournament booth. Being a sunday night obviously there were no tournamnets and the tournament booth was unattended.

Hi nikkaka.They're not accepting cash entries as yet. I will advise in due course when you'll be able to do that.You can fill out an entry form with your credit card details and either leave it at the booth, or fax it to me directly. The fax number is on the form. If you fill out an entry form at the booth, the staff will pass it on.

One further, important piece of information.Crown will accept Main Event entries on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th.This means there will be NO lockout of entries once Day 1A has begun.* If you are likely to arrive late (ie on Tuesday or Wednesday) you can still enter the Main Event.* Single Table Satellites for the Main Event will continue to be run on the Monday and the Tuesday.

Hi Brett,I have got a ticket and plan to go overseas from 21st December and won't be back until 12th Jan 2008 for the Main event. How can I go about converting my ticket and requesting for Day 1 Flight Three?
