Spacegun,Buying software to run an internal online league is a massive overkill. Huge costs to set-up, huge costs to customize plus a great deal of technical know-how is needed to set up the software, hardware and the servers.Buying software to run a league is only viable if you're going to get rake (which is not legal if you set up from Australia and get Australian clients, but this a totally different matter) and have cash game players in the order of thousands. I would just recommend a series of private tournaments in Pokerstars, which is infinitely less hassling for your purposes.

That's correct - the costs of anything that "works" would be prohibitive without a serious marketing plan for recouping the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Mansion spent a fortune on their proprietary software and it was still crap the GDP of a small country later - and they moved to OnGame, which is surprisingly crappy software in itself for such a large commercial network.
