Just a little heads up on the latest to come from the pit bosses at Treasury Casino in Brisbane regarding their new poker room.The June opening date i have been reliable told is now looking more like late July but probably August. Why the delay they didnt or wouldnt say.Training for the dealers and floor crew has been undertaken but for some reason they are not ready to go this month.The poker room itself is not really going to be a room, they will be placing 4 tables in the downstairs section of the casino in the pit that currently holds 4 roulette tables and 8 blackjack tables. They are going to remove some of the blackjack tables to make room for the four poker tables. Colour coded carpet will section off the players area from railbirds (that"ll work). Intially Hold'em is the only game played. $1 entry fee per hand - paid pre deal. $100 minimum buy for your seat at the table not sure what maximum they have set. All hands will be Table stakes only - Reload available only after each hand is completed.The star city sms waiting list policy is being implemented at Treasury.Just thought i would update interested Queenslanders and southern visitors. As for me what was i doing at Treasury on a school day - Going on tilt at myself for sitting down at a baccarat table and deciding NOT to place a hurried BANKER bet as i sat down and made myself comfortable for the first hand of a twelve in a row BANKER streak. Managed to snap myself out of my self disgust and bet the last three but F--- Me! I still cant believe i just sat there and watched...See ya at the table friday night guys!

hi guys, how is this rake system going to work? $1 per player per hand doesnt sound too appealing to a player that is considering sitting down for a few hours. the game is going to be limit right? if so what limit? it feels like this rake is meant to drive away all the good players from the game, so that the fish just keep coming in and can win occasionally.
