I'm not so much annoyed about having paid for a tournament that chose not to let me play as I am about bubbling in one of the WPD satellites. For some reason ***/pacific seem to think it is a good idea that when someone acts their chip balance disappears briefly. Being new to the site I kept making the error of thinking the player must be all in. I also had to spend 10 minutes with a table that somehow expanded itself so that two players were off the screen. It seems little has changed in the last 5 years for online poker. The sites that also have casinos just dont want to waste their programmers fixing the hundreds of bugs in the poker software . they would rather have them working productively on new video slot machines for the casino. Yet poker only sites like pokerstars and FullTilt seem to update every 2nd day to fix errors or improve ease of use.P.S. how lucky is Gaz, gets the job with marketing with 888 when they wouldn't need marketing if they fixed their f$%#ing crap software

I was looking forward to the PNW League then all of a sudden they cant handle my international credit card deposits and even over the phone refer me to internet money transfer sites... im good business for them but far too lazy to mess around when all other sites can handle me giving them cash easily enough..If a site cant make my life extra-ordinarily easy/convenient for me to deposit/give them business, im instantly worried about withdraws

I agree the software is extremely poor, and that is the reason why I'm not playing there regularly. The software needs a total overhaul by experienced developers, please take note, Gaz.

i agree with you 100% bugsy. The software is so user unfriendly it shits me to tears. I've tried to put up with the horrific graphics and layout because the fish there come in schools of 3 or 4 a table but even then i can't do it for more than 30 mins at a time.the majority of my poker playing mates think the exact same thing, and they would play this site WAY more if things were improved. The traffic seems to have jumped up since the shane warne signing/promotion and i think they need to capitalise on this boom now to keep as many players as they can.i hate to bad mouth 888 when gaz is involved but the software is shockingly bad- it's worse than bodog in my opinion. hopefully there will be some design overhauls in the near future coz it's really dissapointing with so many live ones swimming around there.

Fair enough, but I guess I was trying to point out that these things are subjective opinion. I genuinely get tilted playing any software apart from Cake/Pacific after over 1 mil hands online now. Sure, Pacific has random bugs here and there, and yes, I totally agree money should be invested in building the platform up again from scratch, but the old Pacific software is really quite slick in many respects and very very fast.
