Free flights looking like a SCAM

I just forked out $4,150 (The fkn thing went up $200 while I was booking it) to go between 1/7 & 18/7. I could have book this earlier for a lot less so not only am I scammed out of my ticket (Fck you TLC) it cost me a lot more to book and pay now than a month ago.

Just a quick suggestion. Admin can we merge the two TLC flight threads or something. Having just one "Official TLC Flights" thread would make it easier for everyone to post updates on their own situation as well as allowing RyanH or reps one spot to post official updates.

Have recieved the following from intercasino:I am sorry that you feel disappointed about our travel agency.However please be assured that we are used to work with TLC Marketing regarding our travel bookings and it is not in anyway a scam company.I have forwarded your details to our marketing deparment in order for TLC Marketing to contact you as soon as possible.and in another email:As promised I have passed on your concern to our casino manager and Ihave been confirmed that he will personally follow this up with TLC whenthey return to the booking office on Monday and he will make sure thatyou get a prompt response early next week.We would like to apologize for the delay on behalf of TLC Marketing. Dueto a large participation of this promotion, the TLC booking team has notbeen able to get back to some customers as quick as they would haveliked.Also I would like to assure you once again that the flight supplier TLCMarketing is a global company approved by the ISP (Institute of SalesPromotions) and that you will be given the change to fly to the USA, aspromised.

Just to give you all some hope. My girlfriend received an email from TLC today with flight dates/numbers and the cost of taxes for her to confirm. (A$510 for syd-san fran- newark return)My advice to everyone. Any email you send to TLC copy in RyanH. After getting no response/jerked around by TLC for ages, as soon as RyanH was involved everything was sorted out quickly and professionally.

kom, out of interest - what dates did your girlfriend book? I'm about to send off my letter (with dates in March '09) and would rather not find out that the flight is confirmed in February..

The dates she booked for were 23 July-6 Aug.

I've had my application officially declined.I didn't put a credit card number on the form. Apparently this is a failure to meet the T's & C's.This is despite it saying clearly in the T&C's that payment by cheque is an option.
