Free flights looking like a SCAM

DISCLAIMER - I will happily retract this statement if it turns out to be incorrect at a later date.Late last week I contacted InterCasino and demanded a phone number for TLC marketing, and after much, well, let's call it "deliberation" they finally gave me the contact number in London. TLC Marketing are the organisation responsible for booking the "free flights".+44 871 221 0511 is their phone number if you want to call them - I'll give $25 on stars or FT to the first person able to actually speak with a person who can discuss the free flight promotion.In the last 3 nights I have made 6 phone calls, and each time "the person I need to speak with is out of the office / in a meeting / with a client but will be happy to give me a call back ASAP".TLC Marketing purports to be a large multi-national corporation, so it strikes me as odd that they don't have a single person in their London office who can help me - nor call me back.What's even more strange is that the same guy answered my phone call on all 3 occasions tonight, however the last time tried to pretend he was someone different - who had not spoken with me previously ! That's usually a pretty bad sign IMO. Funnily enough he remember my name and the city I was calling from ... but I digress.It has also been brought to my attention several websites where other dis-illusioned customers around the World have been promised flights or other marketing 'giveaways' by TLC which have never been delivered.You can locate these by googling "TLC Marketing scams". Has anyone heard anything ??If I am wrong I will HAPPILY make a public apology on this site to both InterCasino and TLC Marketing - but if I was a gambling man (lol) I would say we are drawing to a 2 outer with one card to come.

Bugger, I just sent in the voucher today with my credit card number on it.I hope I don't have to cancel my cc or something. Looks like the promotion was too good to be true. I wish I'd seen this post yesterday, I would have ripped up the voucher.

UPDATE NUMBER 1 (I expect there will be more).After spending 14 minutes on hold (I guess they expected me to hang up!!) I finally spoke to Mark Shephard whose title was Travel Promotions Manager.He gave me his assurance that all flight offers will be made to customers. Apparently the delay is because our forms ended up back at the Australia office despite sending them to London.This in itself sounds suss, but I'm willing to give him the slightest amount of slack here. He then refused to give me the Australian office phone number ... hrmmmAnyway, he gave me his personal assurance that I would be contacted within 48 hours, and gave me his personal mobile phone number (which if I have not heard from him in 48 hours and 1 minute I will post here obv).He also said that the other promotions which were never delivered were "misunderstandings from the American office".He said that no one should be worried and that everyone eligible will get their flights.We'll see ...

keep us updated.i emailed intercasino today and they gave me a number to call for the booking agent. the number was not in service!they are currently sourcing an email address for me so i can contact the booking agent.at the end of the day it is intercasino's responsibility to provide us with the free flight.

I was given a number to use to fax the booking form. The fax number they gave me did not connect. Also I was annoyed that they said we can fly from June 1st and then when I got the form on may 15 it said allow 30 days for them to process the order. This meant I'd miss all the wsop events I wanted to play.

Well I finally got a phone call back last night at 2:30am to say that TLC Marketing - NEVER RECEIVED MY #@$@#$@# FORMS - which is an absolute lie as I had them couriered, and still have the tracking number and code which show the exact time and date someone from TLC Marketing signed for them.Unfortunately by the time I got these forms it was after 5pm UK time, so couldn't reach anyone.I once again spoke to InterCasino to let them know, and they promised to have an email address for Australian players to contact within the week - which really could not be more unhelpful.I'm going out to book my own flights today

Oh, and also, this morning I tried contacting the number for the Australian office of TLC Marketing - but funnily enough it's not in service.

doesn't look good....I am contacting you with regards to your query on the FLY USApromotions, and the contact numbers of the booking agent.I just wanted to give you an update on this issue as I have receivedword back from our Casino Manager, and I didn't want you to think we hadforgotten about you.The Casino Manager has advised us that he has an e-mail addressspecifically for our Australian players and that he expects to have thisvery soon. He also confirms that he has contacted the booking agentagain and that they are in the process of setting up an new e-mailaddress and assigning one of their Australian personell to manage theseinteractions. At this time the email address in not yet ready, but as soon as we arein possession of this, I will contact you back. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding in this matter.
